"The Blonde Haired Girl"

This is my most recent 3 day old artwork I had so much fun creating! This piece is called “The blonde haired girl”. Now I am super excited because this is the first time I had EVER used this media and just sat down and created something. Now all of this is made entirely on recycled fabrics there are some yarn and glitter but mostly fabric. I want to give a HUGE thank you to my mother for providing all the materials to me and helping me create such a fun piece of art!

I really wish I photographed or recorded myself making this piece because it would have been hilarious. I had no idea what I was doing and what I was really making, I was just gluing all sorts of colorful fabrics onto a canvas. I mean after awhile I finally figured out OH this looks like hair…I’ll make a girl. lol. I really got into it though, my hands were all sticky from all the glue, sometimes I got frustrated because I didn’t know what I was doing and then I was like oh no big deal this is AWESOME! But I am really happy it turned out pretty good. I will continue on with this magical fabric art making and pursuing such a fun way of life.
